I'm working on my master's thesis in Death Valley, more specifically in the Amargosa Chaos. My thesis aims to determine the history of the faulting in this area.
I participated in UO's field camp in 2020, working mainly on the South Fork of the Crooked River. We mapped river terraces in the area, as well as geologic units and other significant geologic features.
I aided in instructing a smaller version of field camp for UO students, which took place in Owyhee State Park in Oregon. The field camp is broad and spends time on honing all geologic field skills.
